For Wendy Fletcher, art has never been simply about creating something beautiful. It is about connection—to animals, the land, family, and the stories that stay with us.

That connection reaches back generations. Wendy’s grandmother was a painter who supported her three young children by hand-colorizing black-and-white portraits before color photography became commonplace. Horses have been another lifelong thread, beginning with Wendy’s first horse at age seven and continuing to inspire her work today.
